Giving
I travel into London often to teach my classes, and it’s impossible not to notice how the homelessness crisis has worsened in recent years. Each journey brings encounters with people trying to live on the streets, many of them forced to beg on the trains, often ignored or overlooked by those around them.
I’ve decided to make a practical offering through my art practice. A portion of what I earn from teaching and creative work now goes toward supplies for local shelters and charities in London.
If you’d like to help me, there are several ways to help:
Join me in person with your own bag/suitcase full of donations, and we can deliver them together
Drop off much-needed supplies to me so I can add to my suitcase
Make a monetary donation, which will offer a little extra help in buying much-needed supplies/food for the London shelters
However, you choose to give, whether through presence, items, or funds, thank you so very much! It makes a real difference!
